Pedro Aguiar returns to Flow with two huge tracks and an amazing Petar Dundov Remix

Pedro Aguiar has become one of the leading artists on Flow Vinyl, so he was the natural choice for the label´s first release of 2015. Previous releases on Flow from the Lisbon-based DJ and producer include ‘I Don’t Want It’ and ‘Kyoto’, as well as tracks on many other respected labels, and his latest offering, ‘Airhead’, continues his trademark sound of rhythmic progressive house combined with deep and dubby effects.

Aguiar is a master when it comes to late night grooves, and ‘Airhead’ is the perfect example. Using percussion and a driving bassline to build the intensity of the track, he adds haunting synth lines and vocals to superb effect. The result is an intense but melodic musical odyssey which takes hold of the listener and never lets go.

For the remix, Flow has enlisted the services of Petar Dundov from Croatia who takes the track deeper into techno territory with a slow-burning intensity and acid influenced synths lines. As with the original, the music travels through several stages to create an exciting and imaginative narrative for the dancefloor.

There’s also a second original track, ‘Audacity’, which sees Aguiar take a housier ride with the clever use of old school house synths and an irresistible groove. Very fine all round.
